December Newsletter

It's been a few months since my last Newsletter but I've been hard at work sewing and developing patterns and designs. Also, we adopted a puppy, which has kept me very busy, her name is Pepper.

I developed a beautiful Placemat pattern with a fellow guild member.  I love it because it looks like a leaf and I learned new techniques and enjoyed quilting them at the end.

The pattern includes step by step instructions with pictures in most steps and we even made free Youtube videos to show you steps!  It's been tested and been verified as easy to follow :)

The pattern teaches you Foundation Piecing with Mesh Stabilizer, the stabilizer stays in, no messy paper to take out.  Watch the video to learn more:

I am working on a napkin pattern that comes with a machine embroidery design that is a miniature placemat.  You can use a different thread color for each napkin so everybody knows who's napkin is whos.

Butterfly Ecology

I've been learning Inktense and will have butterfly patterns available soon!  This is one I did on the Giant Swallowtail and it's host plant.
