First Blog Post

Hmmm, I have been building a web site the last couple of days and I decided I needed a blog, so I made a page and then I realized it was blank so I'd better write something.

I was relaxing with my free motioning quilting when the computer and the blank blog called. I love to free motion quilt for a break and at night. While I am doing it, I listen to music like Cat Stevens or Enya or an audio book. I have been listening to A Gentlemen in Moscow lately for my book club, it's this months selection.

I am rambling because it's more fun then actually writing something of substance. I am more a science and math person. Figuring out how to do things in my website was fun. But, apparently now I need to fill it with 'content', in other words, the written word! As you can probably can tell, writing is not my forte, so this blog will probably have a lot of pictures of Nature (which I do love) and quilting (dido on my affinity toward it).

So, I think I did pretty well on my first blog. As Fat Amy would say, nailed it! (If you haven't seen Pitch Perfect in which Fat Amy's character resides, then you must). My daughter and I love it, it's a trilogy and has great music. O.k. I think that's enough 'content' for one day :)
