Photo to Fabric experiment

I will run an experiment between 6 types of fabrics which I will print using my Epson 2720 printer to answer the question; Which fabric treatment results in the best looking photograph after rinsing?

Procedure -

Print wildflowers, Verbena and Canna on 6 differently prepared fabrics. I will clean the print head between each printing, especially if lines start showing up. I will use the same printer setting for all - standard, regular paper. I will then follow the procedure advised by the manufacturer procedure. The fabric will then be let to dry flat and I will take pictures and try to objectively determine which fabric/flower looks the best. My hypothesis is that the commercially treated fabric will look the best. But, we will see, that's the excitement of science! You never know what will happen but you always learn something :)

Materials:

Epson 2720 printer

1 - untreated natural muslin ironed onto freezer paper

2 - White fabric treated with Bubble Jet 2000 and Terial Magic

Paper to test printer between runs

6 fabrics after printing

June Taylor and untreated fabrics were ironed after backing was removed.
